GHAME

The GHAME group (Group of Haptics and Educational Mechatronics) belonging to the Rey Juan Carlos University, was born in 2019 as part of the GMRV-MSlab group. Its origin is in research for developing new technologies based on Mechatronics, a union of Mechanical and Electronic technologies, for application within the field of training and education in general. The group also integrates the technology of haptic devices, which have been developed by GMRV since the early 2000s. The group belongs to the ETS-Computer Engineering of the Rey Juan Carlos University on the Móstoles campus. Currently the group is controlling robotic platforms for interaction within the classroom. On the other hand, we are working on robots to support people with disabilities to solve accessibility problems. Finally, we are working on developing a robot that improves communication for people with mild degrees of autism spectrum disorder.
